🍝 Pesto Pasta with Mánamu Olive Oil
A fresh, simple, and delicious recipe to enjoy the Mediterranean flavor with a special touch thanks to Mánamu extra virgin olive oil.
Ingredients

1 cup fresh basil leaves

¼ cup of pine nuts

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 clove of garlic

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup of Mánamu extra virgin olive oil

200 g of spaghetti

Water to cook the pasta

Extra Parmesan cheese, fresh cilantro and a drizzle of Mánamu oil for garnish
Preparation

Prepare the pesto:
In a bowl or food processor, place the basil leaves, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and Mánamu olive oil.
Blend or process everything until you have a thick, creamy sauce. Adjust the salt if necessary.

Cook the pasta:
In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti for approximately 6 minutes (or until al dente). Drain and set aside.

Serve and decorate:
Place the pasta on a plate, add a generous amount of pesto, sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese, a few fresh cilantro leaves, and finish with an extra drizzle of Mánamu olive oil.

For a lighter version, you can substitute the pine nuts for cashews or flaked almonds. It's spectacular!
